I became a decorative artist because I wanted a creative way to contribute financially while raising my family.

No. You will have 12 months after the course ends to complete your certification. You will have access to all the content forever and all future trainings (products for future certification programs will need to be purchased)

Not at all. While many of our students start as furniture painters, Surface to Success is designed for creative women who want to expand their skills into decorative finishes, Venetian plaster, textured art, murals, and other specialty surfaces.

Is there a refund policy?
Because of the immediate access to digital training and the shipment of physical materials, all sales are final.
What if furniture painting is still my primary business?
Perfect. Surface to Success isn’t about replacing furniture painting. It’s about giving you additional skills and services so you’re not relying on furniture sales alone. How is the course delivered?
The training is hosted online through Thinkific and our very own app. Lessons are released weekly, allowing you to learn at a manageable pace while building your portfolio throughout the program.
Do I need to have any prior decorative painting experience?
No. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced painter looking to expand your services, the program walks you through each technique step-by-step. I started out in the field with not much experience at all.
Will I receive a materials kit?
Yes. Students receive a curated product kit to help complete the portfolio projects and sample boards taught throughout the program. Kits are shipped within approximately 30 days of enrollment.
What is the Decorative Artist Certification?
Students who successfully complete the required portfolio projects and certification requirements will earn their Decorative Artist Certification, demonstrating their proficiency in the techniques taught inside the program.
Do I have to complete the certification?
No. You can absolutely take the program simply to learn the skills. Certification is available for students who want to showcase their training professionally.
Will I have access to Stacey?
Yes! Weekly Zoom calls, our exclusive private app, Marco Polo with the group to stay in touch during and after the course is finished, so you can have direct coaching every step of the way.
Is this just for wall finishes?
Not at all-you’ll learn techniques for walls, backsplashes, canvas art, furniture, and more.
What if I have a full-time job?
Many students complete the program while working full-time. Because the training is online, you can watch lessons when it fits your schedule and join the live Zoom sessions for support and feedback.
