Pearl Shimmer Rock-Mica Rock Paper for Art & Decor

A natural shimmer with artistic edge.
This Pearl Shimmer Rock is a flexible mica sheet that adds depth, texture, and luminosity to your art. Often referred to as mica rock paper or lampshade mica, it features organic marbling with a pearlized shimmer that plays beautifully with light.

Cut it, layer it, or embed it into your mixed media, resin, furniture, or canvas art projects for a dimensional, high-end effect. It’s perfect for artists, designers, and DIYers looking to add texture and elegance in unexpected ways.

✨ Why Artists Love It:

• Thin, flexible, and easy to cut

• Natural layered mica with a pearl shimmer

• Ideal for layering over textured plaster or embedding into resin

• Use on canvas, journals, wood, lampshades, and more

• Pairs beautifully with shimmer powders, flakes, or gold leaf

Each sheet is hand-cut and artist-approved by Stacey Van Gundy in Iowa. This is a unique material that bridges fine art with design—no two pieces are exactly alike.

Shimmer Rock is sold in 1sq. foot packages cut-up to fit into a 7"x9" sealable bag. Some irregularity and loose pieces must be allowed in shipping.
