‘Prairie Gathering’ / Iowa Native Wildflower Painting On Reclaimed Wood

Prairie Gathering captures the beauty of an Iowa prairie at the height of summer.

Hand-painted on reclaimed wood, this original botanical artwork features a natural gathering of native wildflowers, including yellow coneflowers, purple coneflowers, asters, and prairie grasses. The weathered wood adds warmth and character, making each piece truly one of a kind.

Part of my Painted Prairie Collection, this painting celebrates the beauty and importance of Iowa's native landscapes. My goal with this collection is not only to preserve these wildflowers through art, but also to help protect them. Ten percent of every Painted Prairie Collection sale is donated to Iowa conservation efforts, helping preserve native prairies for future generations.

Whether displayed in a farmhouse, cottage, or modern home, Prairie Gathering brings the peaceful beauty of the Midwest indoors with rich texture, natural color, and timeless craftsmanship.

As part of my Painted Prairie Collection, 10% of every sale is donated to Iowa conservation efforts, helping presrve and protect native prairie habitats for future generations.

Artist's Note:

The Iowa prairie is one of the most beautiful and overlooked landscapes in the midwest.  Through the Painted prairie Collection, I hope to preserve a small piece of that beauty while honoring the wildflowers and grass that have flourished here for generations
